In the heart of Central Minnesota lies the town of Upsala.  Originally settled in the 1870's by Swedish Protestants, the area has become a blend of cultural backgrounds, as more people move from the larger cities into the rural area.  The City of Upsala is home to five churches, an active senior citizens center, public library and a new K-12 school.
